Currently Senior Manager for Career Services at the Institute, Elizabeth Feehan has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, employee relations and career counseling, in a variety of work environments - not-for-profit, academic, corporate and consulting. Since joining AIChE in 1997, Betty has introduced a Members Only 800 number, published Landing a Great Job, a job search manual for chemical engineers, initiated virtual participation in Institute Career Fairs, and written a monthly career column in AIChExtra. She also began the Career Services Ambassador Program of eight Volunteers who are trained to present the Institute's career and employment workshops at National Meetings and other venues. Betty has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from College of Mount Saint Vincent and a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Manhattan College. She's an active member of the New York Association of Career Management Professionals; she is currently chairing the Nominating Committee and was its Treasurer from 1998 through 2000.
