Karen Klincewicz Gleason
Karen K. Gleason, Professor and Executive Officer, Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT
Dr. Karen K. Gleason is a Professor and Executive Officer for the Chemical Engineering Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Previously while at MIT, Karen received a B.S. in chemistry, a M.S. in chemical engineering, and All-American honors in swimming. Her Ph.D. is from University of California at Berkeley. After joining the faculty at MIT she received both the NSF Presidential Young Investigator and ONR Young Investigators Program awards. Prof. Gleason has authored over 100 papers on chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and thin film characterization, with an emphasis on solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
